Heitec Hot Runner Systems was in the spotlight at the 2025 K Show in Germany with two live presentations at our partner’s booths Hofmann and Sepro. It was a great opportunity to discover the advantages of the STAR-LINE Edge Gate System and seeing how it can enhance your molding applications.
At this year’s K Show, our partner Hofmann – Ihr Impulsgeber showcased Heitec’s STAR-LINE Edge Gate System in full production. The system demonstrated exceptional precision and efficiency using an 8-cavity mold for 10 ml syringe barrels (PP, 4.8 g each).
The STAR-LINE delivers what modern manufacturing demands:
- Accurate melt flow for consistent quality
- Optimized energy efficiency for sustainable production
- Shorter cycle times for higher productivity
With demoulding without ancillary time, enabled by Hofmann’s innovative thread concept, this system sets a new benchmark for process stability and repeat accuracy in medical molding.
Additionally, the Sepro Group showcased the STAR-LINE nozzle system in real production. The live demonstration highlighted the system’s precision, energy efficiency, and dynamic performance under full operating conditions using a 48-cavity mold for side injected screw caps (HDPE, 1.3 g each).
